Ich Verrückter habe dann entschieden, dass ich jetzt ja noch gar nicht so KO bin nach 1600 Höhenmetern und ja mal runterjoggen könnte, so von Stein zu Stein springen. War eigentlich auch echt gut und ein netter Adrenalinkick mit jedem Sprung, aber auf der Hälfte der Strecke hatte ich dann unfassbare Blasen und musste den Rest auf Zehenspitzen runtergehen und hatte an den unmöglichsten Stellen am Fuß Aua. And so the dawning of my first day back to work in nearly six months. Was up dark and early at 6am and after saying the goodbyes to Tom and Katy (who both also started early to catch the bus south) off I set to make my way to Sydenham. ... br> Back on the east coast we visited Kaikora where we walked to the seal colonies and along the peninsula with great views of the sea. Next it was up to the wine region of Blenheim where we stayed at the Old Mill B&B (after three weeks in a campervan we needed a break!). The B&B had bikes so we spent a fab day cycling around the many vineyards on a tandem – we were quite rocky by the end of the day!
