I love Kenya but hate Kenyatta Airport. The halls are narrow, congested and poorly lit. The waiting areas have little ventilation. Claustrophobia is all but unavoidable. Once you pass gate security there are no water fountains, no bathrooms and no stores to buy food or drink. We had to wait a very long 2 ½ hours for our flight to Amsterdam.
