We also made a small mistake and thought that the sign meant "bikes ok" but was meant to be interpreted as "no bikes". I had forgotten the frequency of tollways here. Between Madrid and France I think we spent around €20, now it's back to €2-3 per day...except one day when we missed the roundabout turn and ended up in Spain and had to pay it all over again.

I have found a way to buy a bipper but it costs an extra 7% - not sure ...

My other big outing was for a haircut. The girl cutting my hair spoke absolutely zero English. Was done via a photo of me with shorter hair. All good and cost €27

... the guy in the phone shop...he was not very interested. Said "you should have asked for it when you got the sim". We decided to head back to the shop where we bought the sim.
