... I get to Dolphin Point excited but there aren't any dolphins. I walk all the way Hells Gates at Sunshine Reef but I don't see anything :-( Hopefully another day. Once I'm back at the starting point I go on another little walk through the forest which is a lot cooler under the trees :-) Back at the hostel there's a planned activity to Noosa Lookout to see the sunset which looks really lovely. I also see a ...

It must be time to consider heading home. We woke to a heavily overcast day and it's stayed that way all day. Not a breath of wind, with the temperature hovering around 21C. After breakfast we headed to Hastings Street for one final look at the beach while enjoying a mid-morning coffee / freshly squeezed pineapple and mint juice. Anyways there was a Canadian from Toronto at the reception desk who helped us get all checked in. This hostel is really nice!! The beds have duvets and two pillows! We usually only get one pillow and a top sheet. There are lockers for each person in the rooms. It is like an eight bed dorm room. I could totally ...

... other. Glided upstream through the thick mangrove river, tannin water to Harry's Hutt some 5kms upstream. Went for a swim naively; as bull sharks lurked in the waters. Known nationally as one of the most deadliest sharks. Arrived at the jetty to Harry's Hut for lunch. Steak and salad all round, really good food. On par with a flagship cruise restaurant. Fed the catfish after lunch. Large gormless looking fish, with overly sized ...

... where you would struggle to count 50 people on the beach, even during school holidays! I wish I would have had more time to spend there, but having added places into the last couple of weeks I just haven't had the time. The first day though I had a surf lesson, which was fun but fairly unsuccessful. I think I will probably just stick to swimming and body boarding! On the second day we went on the legendary 'Shane's tour' run by the hostel owner. It was fantastic fun jumping ...
