    What a day! First on the list was the Stanley Hotel. We took the tour and found out the hotel was where Stephen King was inspired to write The Shining, but none of the movie was filmed there. We got to see a few of the main rooms and learned about the twin brothers who built the hotel in 1907. It's supposedly haunted by several ghosts, and Jim Carrey was freaked out by the room he was in and left the hotel in the middle of the night.

    Woke early am due to thunder and lightning. Had biscuits and gravy. Essentially scones and a roux sauce with u identified bits in. Apparently sausage I think but tasted like mushroom. Salty.
