Today we knew exactly what we wanted to Independence Pass!! Sarah and Josh had told us how awesome it was so we just had to find out for ourselves!

Independence Pass is only open in the summer so would be closed soon...if you look it up I'm sure it will show you the route but it basically takes you down through Minturn, then through Leadville (the highest city in ...

So Theo left few days ago and I try to pile up some energy for the month to come. I will pick my friend Sandy in Chicago and we will go north to Canada before I will stay few days in Montreal to see my friend Wendy and her lovely boys. I recovered quickly and finished the hike at least...

... the boys will ever forget it. Later that day, the rest of the family joined us in Gunnison to start the 65th birthday celebration weekend with Doug and Nona. After everyone settling in and making their greetings, we all met at the pavilion for Italian night. After dinner my cousin Bekah and I went to a John Denver cover band show at the Ibar. I had no idea she was as big a fan as I. What fun!!! We had a late night, totally worth ...

    Buena Vista to Ridgeway, CO

... I literally had a stupid grin on my face entire time - it was an absolute blast winding down the roads we just climbed hours to reach - it took about 15-20minutes to get down. My only complaint is that it was over before I was ready! We had a great ride group and enjoyed the rest of the day! Today we had a 92mi ride to Ridgeway, CO and it was my most favorite ride in terms of scenery. There is a line from a Kanye song that says "I think I died in an ...
