... coaches while going down the road, we just text back and forth. But it was a bit too much when Stan and Nick dressed almost identically this morning....brown T-shirts and khaki shorts.
Next stop Kilgore,Texas. Brenda's uncle lives there. Should only be about a 7 hour drive today. But it takes time when we fill up for fuel.....big gas tanks on these coaches.
... them just gone.....it was a strange feeling wading in the warm gulf waters and looking up the coast at all the vacant land.
I have discovered that I love the Gulf.....I love fishing it, boating on it, swimming in it and relaxing near it. It's my happy place:)
Tomorrow I get to see two of my most favorite people in the world! Kilgore.....here we ...
It seems as though I have been planning this trip for months.....oh that's right, I have! Florida to Alaska and back to Florida with our friends/neighbors who are driving a their coach. It took us all day yesterday to pack and load the coach. And of course this morning I had to add a few more ...
Easy day today. We toddled over to Gulf Beach to the Davis Bayou segment of Gulf National Seashore to get the stamp. We also watched the movie and went through the visitor center displays. After that, we came back to Gulfport to catch the ferry out to Ship Island, where the final fort of the trip is located.
On the way back from Gulf Beach, I noticed that someone had turned a bunch of dead trees into quite striking ...
