Today Sheila and I traveled to Crested Butte, Colorado. While in Crested Butte, we did some shopping and had lunch. There were a lot of sales going on. I got a nice sweatshirt for $20. After shopping, we headed to Mount Crested Butte. Again, we arrived early. The ski lifts to take you to the top of the mountain don't open until this weekend. The soft snow makes it harder to ski and Billy found himself snow up to his waist after trying his skills on an advanced trail - silly billy.

... and spills galore as the skiers tackled the very fast and demanding tight turning course.

What a weekend! The end of our time watching the Workd Cup skiers and we were certainly not disappointed. To travel half way around the world was worth it. An experience we will never forget and certainly aim to do again.

We farewelled Chris Ernst 'Uncle E'. We had found out that Uncle E was in fact the creator of the sport of ...
