      ... to find out why they hadn't picked us up. Turns out someone was there at 9am and had picked up the other 10 people on the tour but somehow, even though we were sitting there watching the whole time we had missed seeing them and they us, although if their sign had turned our way even once I know we would have seen it .. I felt so bad but Rebecca (one of the R's) told the taxi driver to take us to the marina, a 30 minute drive away, and when we arrived she paid him ...

      After a couple of rounds and a bit of dancing in the street (or swinging your pants in Henry's case) we're happy to head off home.

      A quick cognac and it's bed time. Tomorrow is just another Monday for us as it isn't a bank holiday here. Me thinks we're happy to swap a bank holiday for sunshine and rum punch though.

      ... of us were given a personal tour which included a close up view of the Concorde from the outside, a video presentation which was projected on to the side of the aircraft, some original exhibits and best of all a chance to board the plane, sit in the seats and look into the cockpit. We had timed our visit perfectly, we went on just the three of us where as the next group was about 12 strong.

      ... bobs from a Pharmacy and it had to be done today. All shops etc close on Barbados on a Sunday – it is still the very traditional day of rest. We strolled to the local "Mall" and opposite was a great restaurant called Tapas which had been recommended to Lisa from the hotel she is staying in.
