Best news for the day is that the Cheyne grandparents are on their way to Vancouver. We are all so excited to see them on Friday.

... a little hair raising with a really steep trail that the people coming up were all struggling with (it was Scafell from Wasdale steep and given it was already pushing 20c that is hard work!)
The middle of the trail opened into a high meadow – nice but not that inspiring and then – horrors – it was back on the dreaded fire roads. Don't want to be a hiking snob but fire roads are dulllllllllll The view was anything but dull ...
