    ... downhill riding so I had expected to spend the entire time falling off with my shocking balance. We got the chair lift up to the easy trail to start off and Dylan was showing me how it's done. While explaining how to position your body weight and work out your brakes I look up to see Dylan's bike laying on the first berm in a massive cloud of dust, he was a few metres away. Nearly fell off laughing, in his showing off he hit the wrong brake and went ass up on the first corner.

    ... a while, pecked at it, threw it in the air, pecked at it some more. Finally, about a third of the worm broke off and the bird ate it. It played with the remainder of the worm until it broke in half. Then the bird picked up both parts and flew off. We suppose it was dinner for babies nearly.

    ... stay at the Quality Inn. We are told to remove EVERYTHING from our car with an odor, including lotions, because the bears will tear into the cars with odors. Again we find that we have no air conditioning, a fan and an open window. It takes just a little bit to cool down the room. The air outside is very cool.

    Next door is a John's pizza, the only place in town that is open. So we get dinner there and finally end the day. IT WAS AN AWESOME DAY!
