11 hours driving, 508 miles and the E.T. highway
... so late. However, we found a Mobil gas station with a space big enough for an RV so we grabbed a burger and slept in the car park of the garage thinking that we were doing all the right moves and being self sufficient. Early next morning we stepped out of the van only to find that we had parked next to all of these convenient RV facilities that we had missed in the dark! Ah well, live and learn.

... make sure it wasn't a scam so i investigated further , i called up the number (it was a hawaii number) and spoke to the guy in charge cliff . he didn't seem pushy or anything but i still wasn't stopping there . i searched other bloggs to see if anyone else had written about this trip . it took me a while (2 days) but i finalyy found a couple . they both said they went and had very positive things to say . with me being proud ...
