      Today we were picked up from the apartment at 8.30am and the four of us with a guide/driver headed to Plovdiv, there are seven hills in the city and they are covered in buildings from the Thracian (400BC) and Roman times, with the Roman building's built on top of the Thracian city, and even some of the modern city built up on top again.       ... the adults were trying to sleep. THEN to top it all off, all 4 kids crashed out in the last 30 mins of the flight and didn't wake up until the tires hit the ground...go figure.       After much wandering I found the hostel and was relieved to discover that it seemed really pleasant.
