... did it or heard that someone did it, doesn't mean I have to do it. I'm not saying I'm not going to do it, but if I don't, it's not necessarily a bad thing.

I'm still going to Queensland tomorrow. I'll fly to Brisbane and the Gold Coast. But I won't be staying there for long - I'll be coming back to Melbourne in a couple weeks.

Why?

I have amazing friends who make me laugh and cry. ...

... you get the jist.

After many days of library job applications I make my way into the legendary Federation (Fed) square. With the high rise buildings, station, bars galore, it's a hive of activity. Flanked at one side by the river and infront by Flinders street station this block is beautiful. At the weekends this block becomes an even bigger site of performers and markets. We eventually decided to catch a tram down to st Kilda which dad was insistent we bought special ...

Old buildings and not a city that's been planned with a ruler. Finally! On the way we stopped off in a random hat store, and we were astonished to find Hugh Laurie in a completely random hat store in Melbourne of all places. So bizarre! We then walked the rest of the way to the MCG and bought our ticket for ...

... hostel for around 5pm. We lived up to our tag of being a backpacker again by eating cheap noodles mainly to use up some food! The flight was at 8.50 and before we knew it Melbourne was at an end and we were sat on our coach transfer to Avalon airport! Australia isn't finished here however as we still have the glorious city of Sydney to come. We are both excited to see what it holds! Hope you enjoyed the post as we certainly enjoyed doing all of it : )! Love Stuart and Philippa ...
