    ... was thought-provoking and quite emotional especially when you see the picture of Anne's dad standing alone in the house years later. Katie bought a stamped book and is re-reading it with a new understanding of Anne's and her family's experiences. In the afternoon, we ate lunch alongside one of the canals and then took a boat tour. We loved seeing all the houses built in the 1500's and 1600's. It was a great day in Amsterdam!
