... a lovely view and I enjoyed a Heineken. (For those of you worried about my budget and the fact that I have a beer with meals, it's actually cheaper than water generally- just ridiculous. So I stick to the tap water in my water bottle and enjoy local drinks when we're out!) After our lunch we walked along the beach, went to a pier and did a lot of people watching. There was bungee jumping over the ocean from the pier, pretty ...

This morning I went into the Van Gogh museum and was amazed at the paintings there and the fact that he only started painting at the age of 27 & died at 37 by shooting himself. It's amazing how young some of the kids appear to be and they are riding ...

The destructive tides that flooded the islands in 1953 and claimed the lives of 1,800 people are still remembered by the inhabitants of Zeeland. Since then, the gigantic Delta Works have prevented a recurrence. Some in our group opted to tour the Delta Works. ...

... up with the faster riders, but I did OK keeping up. When the main pack went faster, I coasted and had Caroline take me into the Hagge. It was such a nice ride into this city. I also finished my longest ride ever at 80km. I then walked through the town seeing the royal palace, many gardens and lovely shoppes. We had an excellent dinner at a local restaurant and then was fast ...
