Up early, again. although our hotel is fine, its nearer to the road and with the all the trees around we are disturbed early by the squawking of the birds. Not a problem but it takes time to get used to.
In the beach car park at Noosa Heads at 9am, it was already full, but parked up close by. Sitting on the beach and watched what locals get up …

Packing up once again with Dot Cotton in toe (checkered plastic woven laundry bag… yes Ethel and Albert went shopping in Brisbane!) we headed off to the Jucy car rentals to pick up our El Cheapo… it’s exactly what it says on the tin! After being shown around, the girl decided the first van was a bit tatty (understatement) and showed to us another which was in a “”much better” condition. Slight step down from Buzz, but we set ...

... and spend the better part of an hour learning about koalas. A big highlight. We have recently been to the San Diego zoo and for good or bad it was not as up close and personal with the animals. At one point on the shuttle we were up close to a cheetah being walked, and dingos being taken for a stroll.

Center stage at the zoo is the crocaseum a not so small outdoor stadium for the animal shows. The size is shocking to me..and at the mid day show we expect it ...
