... and snorkeled up towards the channel, spotting a few sea turtles along the way. No matter how many times you have seen sea turtles they still amaze you every single time. They are just majestic creatures to watch.

Once we got back on the boat, the rum punch was flowing along with the local Caye Caulker cigarettes. Rum after rum chilling on the boat and just watching the sunset over the horizon. You could not have picked a better way to finish a great day ...

We went off on their yacht with a bunch of other travellers and had three snorkelling spots;

- the first was over a small reef outside of the reserve and seemed to be really for us to try out the equipment and for our guides of the day to check out that we were all competent swimmers. The reef itself was pretty and Annie did her usual best to point out the fish and interesting or colourful coral but I mostly just enjoyed being in this wonderful Caribbean water ...
