      Not a lot to report today as just went to the beach, until
      it got too hot (30 deg) then retreated to the pool by our unit.

      ... a 500 mtr walk and we finally arrived at Mantra apartments Southbank. Time of arrival 1.05pm. 4 hours. Knackered!!!

      Had a lovely apartment with a lovely little deck, nice kitchenette, and great views of the city. However it cost as much as accommodation for 7 days in a caravan park! Mind we don't use caravan parks either so there you go.

      Well we arrived in Hawaii same day at 7am...unreal! We breezed thru customs as man in line before us was taken fingerprints or anything as we both travelled on Canadian passport...what a difference!       Up around 9am today. Watched a bit of TV in bed before getting up for some breakfast. We performed our morning routine (checking the emails, Facebook and the job pages). We applied for a strawberry picking job at a farm in Caboolture, just south of Noosa which looks ideal so we have our fingers crossed on that one.       ... of the rain forest. By the time we left, the rain had ceased. We stopped at Point Arkwright on the way back and took some nice photos. All too soon our time at Cotton Tree was coming to an end and it was time to pack up ready for our drive back through Brisbane and south to Broadbeach on the Gold Coast.
