... blow out was a couple of reasons. Mainly that things took longer than the estimated time. Also Chris has to run his business and gets interrupted many times during the day. Guess we had been planning so many different dates and that ended up in the rush in the end.

All in all we have ended up with a stress free dream build and we are thrilled. Absolutely thrilled.

... beach, large parts are uninhibited 'cos you have to swim between the red and yellow flags! No flags means No swim or surfing but there's not much that keeps a good surfer away unless the ocean is just flat! I've put in some photos of Sunshine beach which is where David and I go to try and spot whales travelling back south with their calves (is that what a baby whale is called?) but no luck and the migration ends in November! ...

... lazing around in the sun for a few hours, I felt that I'd been dawdling around for too long today, and was feeling a bit cross with myself for not planning as well as I could have. I spotted an information hut just as I approached the ferry terminal. On the off chance that it was still open, I decided to go in, hoping to perhaps find out the ferry times. Handily I was greeted by a friendly ranger. The last ferry is at twelve twenty on weekends they said. I must have ...
