... Une petite frayeur avant le départ, puisque Dub et Virginie ont perdu leur appareil photo. Nous refaisons donc notre route du matin en sens inverse pour essayer de le retrouver. Mis tout est bien qui finit pas trop mal grâce à beaucoup de chances : le fugitif est retrouvé posé près des toilettes utilisées quelques heures plus tôt. Une chance que personne ne se soit servi!
Et c'est maintenant parti pour la gare où nous retrouvons nos italiens ...

... it had a more Sydney feel to it in the centre, it felt just like home in the surrounding suburbs. I wouldn't be staying at the YHA here, as the earthquake had made it unable to keep operating until repairs were carried out. Instead, I booked into the Old Country House backpackers up the road, which was a bit cheaper than the Jailhouse and YMCA. Land of the Long White Cloud, Part I
... and after being introduced to our hilarious Nepalese guide we were off. The first part of the walk was flat, across the stones at the base of the glacier, but before long we were strapping on our crampons to tackle the steeper ice steps up onto the glacier itself.
