... going on but we had all you can eat seafood which was delicious! When then went on to a wildlife park special for its Manatees. It's was really cool and interesting. We got to see hippo, manatees, alligators and lots of cool birds! We arrived in Clearwater and today we went to Busch Gardens which was really cool. We got on most of the rides and saw lots of the animals. We are exhausted now! But on to Orlando tomorrow for universal and Disney! Much love, Ellie and Dan ...
... a place that has more going on after 5. The south end, Bradenton Beach, has more motels, tourist bars, shops, etc. My guess is there is more going on there in the evening as well. We have been appreciating being able to walk to everything here but we may need to go elsewhere in the evening for some activity. Since it is dark by 6, the beach isn't an option. Shelling here is not Sanibel, but there is always something to find. I found a small, unbroken sand dollar this afternoon. ...
... all these extras. We drove to get our bags at Animal Kingdom Lodge and then drove to Tampa. We got lost and stopped at a shop for Dad to get a sim card for his phone so we could get GPS.
We drove to our hotel at Clearwater Beach and crashed (not the car).
USA Fact: They drive on the wrong side of the road!
Checked out of the hotel and headed to the ship a little before Noon. It was only about 5 min by cab, to the pier. The line to drop your luggage was extremely long, and took us almost 20 min. Then upstairs for a much shorter security line, and no line for Suite Guest check in.
