Cabo was never really on my list of places to visit while in Baja...popular for spring breakers and with menus priced in American dollars it neither sounded appealing nor was in my price range - but with the tickets for the ferry to Topolobampo sold out, my only way to Los Mochis and the start of the Copper Canyon was to fly to Culiacan...and this is how I found myself in San Jose. The Cabo mariner is made up of ...

We bought groceries (259 pesos = ~$24 US) at Mega store, then headed home. Roger sat on the balcony and drank Kahlua from the cupboard, while Anna crashed on the couch (sick ... fighting a cold and headache). Poor Roger. Luckily sitting on the balcony watching the ocean is his favorite passtime.

    Tomorrow we will explore. ...

... custom of turning on the left signal light when it's OK to pass came in really handy as we passed this guy when he gave the all clear on a particularly winding section on a right hand curve hence we were blind until we passed him. No Problema!!! got past and zoomed on.

Once we ascended onto the plains it again presented us with a wide open vista of flat plains and cactus and a highway stretching on and on. This again gave me ...
