... time for onions because we’ve been seeing truck loads full of bagged onions for the past few days.

We are in a really nice boutique hotel (the El Cortijo) tonight in the village of Cachi—population 2200. They have a very interesting menu so we have a reservation for 8:30. We never eat that late, but most Argentines don’t even start their dinners until 10:00. If I remember right it was the same thing when we traveled ...

Turns out this wasn´t a receipt, it was more of a story, and the book held the stories of each donation. They don´t see many norteamericanos, actually, they see far more people from francia, we heard that again and again.

... it may deter drivers, thinking we were crazy lunatics. The first chap only took us 20kms but as soon as we got out in this small hick **** town, Huw does another stunt hitch and we were picked up again, this time for the rest of the whole journey - 3 hours! Bonus! That afternoon after arriving in Cachi, we decided at 4pm to hitch to a national park 40kms away that is filled with cactus as far as the eye could see. Three ...
