... Jumping off a boat into the beautiful water with no other tourists around apart from us. Paradise! We pulled up in Tristenik (pretty sure Murmungee is bigger) and swam at the beach and did wine tasting. I haven't been able to drink red wine since an unforgettable winery tour so I was proud I tried it again. It was a very bizarre sight, lots of 22 years old in beach attire drinking classy red wine. But whatever, the oil and bread were amazing! That night ...

... on a number of occasions to take photos and on one occasion I even went down a steep road and right onto the beach. I took a quick paddle in the water and it was just so refreshing. Onwards I head along this great road. Once again trying to obey the speed limits along here is simply impossible with all these racing clowns in their big Mercs or boy racer cars. ... our way back to the Old Town, stopping along the way for a quick haircut. Our next stop would be a free walking tour of the Old Town and Diocletian's Palace that was rated the #1 thing to do in Split on Trip Advisor. In fact, the guy who ran our hostel also recommended it. We were to meet in the main square and look for the guide holding the blue umbrella. We read online their evening tours were 5:30 and 6:30. We got to the meeting point around 5:30 ...

    Klis and Split

Today we visited the old fortress in Klis, which had buildings drawing back to the first century. Apparently some Game of Throne episodes were filmed there too, so that was cool. We got great views of the city of split and the sea. It rained a little but we took cover in the fortress. After that, we went into the city centre of Split and had some ...
