... moving before a lot of people were standing up and retrieving their bags. The cabin crew must be used to it as they didn't seemed to care. Once off the plane we had a longish walk along the tarmac to get into the terminal. Other than that, the flight was pleasant and I wouldn't not recommend Air Asia if the price was right (it usually is). ... Movie World were my favourites! There was one slide back at Wet 'n' Wild which blew me away. This slide that started vertical. You hopped into this canister, they holler "3, 2 1..." then BOOM! They press their magic 'floor removing button' and you're on your way. Dropped down this tube so, bloody fast!

That was impressive, but nothing compared to Sea World.

... but I was wearing denim shorts. We went to catch the bus back but there were so many people, and for some reason our bus either never came or was full and didn't stop. I was getting hungry and annoyed after waiting for a good hr then a bus came that only goes to Burleigh and Czech just grabbed my hand again and we got on. I pulled my hand away on the bus, feeling kinda uncomfortable. We got off at Burleigh, he bought me a kebab, and we were able to catch the right bus soon ...

Another early wake up. Hit the beach for another big walk. Walked past Dave an Helen Falvey's apartment block in Broadbeach, nice place. After breakie we headed to Byron bay, about an hour an a quarter drive from Surfers. We drove down the coast road, stopping just south of Tweed Heads for fuel and a coffee. Fuel is very cheap here, it's ranges from $1.30 to $1.55 a litre. Cars are also cheaper but registration is about four times dearer than NZ. The road after the coast wasn't ...
