... needed extra cash! I'm being decidedly squeezed here, by the gaggle of high spirited boys, I'll tolerate the lack of personal space, assuming it's a cultural thing rather than blatant hustle for my table! Now they're singing! Someone dropped a glass...it bounced...the room hushed...it bounced again and survived...a ripple of 'happy birthday' rippled through the group and now its tenor voiced football chants that reverberates around the room like Buddhist ...

almost life-size fort at our home beach. On Saturday evening we walked the 365 steps in beautiful light, ascending from Pollensa town to the tiny Cavalry chapel. For the evening, we had a quiet dinner to ourselves in a pizza place that had been recommended, and ended up trying out a few different bars afterwards (LAB, Idem, Prohibition) to see where would be best for my farewell drinks tomorrow. Suddenly going home feels very real and I'm not at all sure how I feel about it - really can't wait to see everyone... But was it long enough ...

... and had dinner at La Boveda, and stopped for "Spain's second best ice cream" in town. Palma held a "nit de art" (night of art) and was very very busy. A few galleries were open late and there were a few extra exhibitions. We stopped to watch a group of dancers and musicians fuse different types of dance including ballet, tap, flamenco and street. After all of that excitement, we had a final drink in Havana before bed - last day of school tomorrow - ...
