Then sorting out the car and luggage for it's journey home, unfortunately, in an outside car park in the rain as the car was too high to fit in the underground car park we finally arrived at the Noosa Reef for a casual dinner.

What a great little find a large grass area with plenty of sun or shade a great local Bowls club and a fabulous pub just up the road. So we bunkered down for 5 days R&R. I said "well we still have to check out and there's no guarantee there'll be a taxi waiting for us (at the taxi rank outside the hotel) and we don't know what the traffic will be like so let's just go". We went to check out and the gay man on reception (not that there's anything wrong with that) tried to charge me for a coke and an inferior chocolate bar. Coke? Dairy milk chocolate? Now if it was ...

Day 111 - Driving to Brisbane

... hostel that the Swedes were staying at. We didn't have anywhere to stay, so we figured their hostel would be fine, or failing that, we would be in the backpacker part of town. The one way system in Brisbane is a nightmare, but we got there eventually, only to find that they didn't have WiFi, which we needed for planning NZ. Luckily there were about 4 hostels next door, so we opted for the one with the swimming pool on the roof! We said goodbye to our hitch hikers ...
