    ... or the loggerhead. Once the eggs hatch the young turtles are left to fend for themselves but 48hrs after hatching the project team go and excavate the nest after 48hrs to check how many eggs have hatched and see if there are any stragglers! We watched as they opened up the nest, 75 eggs had hatched a few failed and they did rescue a straggler. The stragglers are normally kept for a few days as they are usually weak and once they are strong enough the team take them back to the beach ...

    ... the intinerary for our Vietnam adventure later this year. Researching places to stay and travel - once you get there via a long flight, everything just seems great value for money.     ... front......The White Pearl Hotel. Drinks ordered we settled down to watch the sun set and the lights of the harbour and St Hilarion castle twinkling in the darkness. Great couple of hours.     Today was originally planned as a drive in the hills but the low clouds made us decide to keep to the low ground so a change of plan and we decided to visit Gazimagusa, the main port of North Cyprus.
