Once I'd eaten everything in sight, I left and started my way back in the exact opposite direction I'd come from to make my way to the bar suggested by the waiter-Baoli. It was dark at this point and there were people congregating near the strip in front of the beach. I went closer to check it out and heard an announcement come over ...

... After this scenic little hike, Sami and I wanted to get down to the beach. But first, we had to do this in true French fashion, with baguette and Brie in hand (Rośe too). We found these goodies down a cobblestone street and then made our way back out to the beach to soak up the sunshine and the view. While there is no sand on the beach, the very smooth stones and pebbles make a very hypnotic sound when washing back and forth in the surf. It ...

French Pets - France is a dog lover's heaven. The French take their dogs everywhere. We were in a nice restaurant and noticed a furry tail wagging under the tablecloth. We even saw a small dog in his owner's shopping cart at the grocery store. They are mostly small dogs that can be carried or easily restrained on a leash. Often you will see a pair of Scottie's or Maltese walking along the Croisette or shopping in one of the elegant shops. You will ...
