    ... today we were just heading south on our way to Beaumont, the last stop on our way to New Orleans. The weather was cooperating, and stayed between 82 and 86 degrees all day. No wind and no rain, just the perfect weather for riding. We basically stuck to US-271S, TX-49E, US-59S, and US-96S, all the way to Vidor, Texas.     ... are all friends now! I didn't notice it a first but the m'otel was right next door to the town liquor store so medicinal potions were handled as well.

    After New Orleans, we decide to cut our drive to Austin short and stop in Beaumont, Texas. Yep…Beaumont, Texas.
