... throughout the city, so don't be surprised if you see this visiting Spain. It definitely takes some getting used to.

On the third morning of our visit, we boarded a bus and made the 5 hour trip down to Sevilla - a wonderful town in Andalucía, the southern region of Spain. The drive was absolutely beautiful; I had never realized that Spain is such a mountainous country. I will tell of my Sevilla adventures in the next entry!

... To begin on thursday, my host family cooked me a really nice typical spanish dinner and my host mom made a chocolate and pineapple cake. After that I met up with some friends and we went to a place called Papelon. It is a bar/restaurant that serves these little bottles of home made red wine that cost 2 euros and you only need one bottle to get you pretty sufficiently drunk. ... would come around. So we're waiting forever and ever, I see the "dance floor" is really small so I was wondering how ppl were going to put on a dance show...

We understand nothing of what the owner is yelling out. She's this older Spanish lady, she begins serving drinks, she's playing hostess seating people, taking people's drink orders, delivering the drinks... so the music starts playing.. still thirsty

She starts yelling at people to sit down ...

... along the entire driver side of the white rental car. After getting out of that, we were forced to roll the car down alleyways packed with pedestrians and with about 4 inches of extra space on each side.

As we drove along, I had to insist that Dad stop singing show tunes and dancing so that he could focus on driving through the alleys. Or something like that...

We spent the next day visiting the cathedral as on the last trip I disticntly remember not being willing to pay the 50€ to go inside. Prices have come down and it cost us 16€ this time. Still pricey but worth it ss this is one of the largest cathedrals in the world complete with silver and gold treasure thanksmro ...
