      Doin' the Calypso!

Our stay at the Calypso resort was really nice. When we first checked in, it appeared that things weren't going to go well as others checking in were having all kinds of problems. But we didn't have any problems whatsoever getting checked in or getting to our room. The room (suite) was comfortable, clean, and just what we needed for when we weren't at the parks. We enjoyed the pools and generally had a wonderful time!

... hotel and we all quickly got ready to head back out for a day at Disneys Animal Kingdom. Did you know that if you were to drive from one side of Walt Disney World to the other with no traffic, it would take 45min!!! Yes, Disneyworld is THAT big! After going through the gates the group separated into smaller groups to have fun in Animal Kingdom, so below are mainly the highlights from my day. It was HOT, HUMID & sweaty today and after no sleep on the plane and only ...

... it did knock me sick from the bouncing!) before closing time we spent some time in the tubes in melt away bay which turns to a wave pool every half an hour which is pretty cool. We shower and change before heading to the designer outlet for the evening. Here Owen learned that no matter how many types of jeans Levi's sell, none will fit him right - he stuck to buying tshirts. We get back the the hotel gone 11 absolutely exhausted after another fantastic ...

... Harry Potter world is all the way across from the entrance so we have to go around in order to get there. Since there were fun rides along the way, we made a stop at the Hulk. This one has all these turns and twists. It was exhilarating and really fun. The wait wasn't too bad even though the sign said about 30 minutes wait time. We actually got to the ride within 15-20 minutes so not bad at all. We actually got really lucky and got the 2nd row.

... jungle, we saw large dinosaurs hiding in the trees! Shadowing over the tress, coming out of the water and after a long climb up high we had T. Rex try to eat us as we dived forward and straight down with water completely soaking our faces!!

And once again we were wet head to toe!!!

After this we spent a little time in doctor Suess land! It looked amazing! We went on a slow cart that traveled over the top of that land, which was cool to see everything from above!

... a little bored and almost left again, then it seemed like it got even sunnier out so we decided...let's go brave the wave pool again.

We got in the wave pool and stayed for like two hours! We had a blast! Every time a big wave would come we would get a little better at staying afloat. After a few waves we swam all the way out where the wave machine was and got really brave, riding crests at their tallest points.

Then this horn blew and instead of ...
