    Doin' the Calypso!

Our stay at the Calypso resort was really nice. When we first checked in, it appeared that things weren't going to go well as others checking in were having all kinds of problems. But we didn't have any problems whatsoever getting checked in or getting to our room. The room (suite) was comfortable, clean, and just what we needed for when we weren't at the parks. We enjoyed the pools and generally had a wonderful time!

... Hayley took him back to the hotel. During this time, Zoe, Mum and I made record breaking achievements on getting on sooooo many rides. This has never happened to us in the past. We have never been able to achieve so many activities in one day. And of all days for this to happen, I am glad it was today so that Mum had the best ever magical day.

Enjoy the pictures, we had lots of fun Nanna! Thanks for coming to visit us in Florida, USA! xo

    ... it was still cloudy.

it was a chilly morning, but i hopped on the bike and hoped it would warm up as the day went on. I rode through the southern part of new mexico and as i neared texas the cold began to get unbearable. the temperature was dropping instead of rising as i neared the afternoon, not a good sign.
El paso was at the border of texas, an interesting city, with America on one side of the interstate and mexico on the other. This was ...

... 30 P.M., but they had no problem seating us early...(how lucky have we been today with the early flight, check-in & reservations...not to mention the fact that every bus we had to catch was always just sitting there waiting for us as we arrived, after many warnings of 20 minute wait times). I just don't have enough time talk about how this place, Raglan Road Irish Pub, from top to bottom was "the best" food, atmosphere & live entertainment I have ...

... Outlets, doh. But there was some good news, when we got off the bus, right before us was Outback restaurant and they had a special on, a Sirloin Steak, side dish and unlimited Shrimp (That's king prawns to us English folk!) for just $14.99/10 each and it was bloody delicious! A happy mistake if ever I saw one.

Thankfully our error in going in the wrong direction had only taken us 5 mins back the other way, so it was a hop back on the bus and time for bed!

... have twenty people. There were seven balloons up that morning and the sight of them in the early morning mist and the feeling of tranquility that I experienced bought me joy I cannot describe. In just a few miles there is the bliss of peacefulness and the pleasures of magical commercialism - what a wonderful World we live in.

A special mention to our friend Denise - 28th March, RIP lovely lady.
