    ... a dormant air though which spoke of once great majesty, another human being appeared, a maid, and she indicated that we enjoy the gardens until the management arrived.

    ... Ciutadella had a much better feel about it. Very moorish and had plenty of narrow streets to get lost in and hidden squares with cafes in which to enjoy a coffee or maybe something a little stronger - if back on the island in the future thus would be a nice place to have as a base.     ... a long, arduous day on the boat, we rewarded ourselves with giant ice cream sundaes before heading home. A great way to spend my last day on the island. Despite everyone feeling pretty shattered, they were all good enough to meet up later for my farewell dinner and drinks.
