... Cathy was struck by a bit of a ‘dicky tummy’ this afternoon which required frequent trips to the ‘little girl’s room’. No more details, so don’t ask. I went to find some ‘Imodium’ or something and was directed to the ship’s infirmary. make a long story short, they take gastrointestinal issues very seriously on a ship. Cathy has ...

... Darren's caramel latte were ready and we headed off.
We walked up the street towards Balboa park, which took maybe 20 minutes, then when we got there we discovered where the homeless of SD live. Not so many or so bad as LA, but there were lots of them.

It seemed like no time at all before we arrived at the motel, in fact I made a point of checking my surroundings just to make sure we hadn't gone back to the 1950s like in the movie.
This was to be our first of many motel experiences in America and I must say that this was one of the better ones. Two floors of identical rooms in a cream ...

... make our day in San Diego a great experience. We concluded the tour around 5 PM and had decided to enjoy a nice dinner for our last night of our trip. The majority of restaurants in Old Town are Mexican and we do not know much about Mexican food so we visited three of the most appealing ones to check out the menus and have some explanations of what some of the dishes were. Not being very daring, we chose the Cosmopolitan Hotel, one of ...
