The 'wrong' way down
... we soon realised this would be our only proper meal out in California, so we just enjoyed it.
On the walk back to the Hostel we passed a cafe and spotted Florence from Florence and the Machine, just casually sitting there with no attention and this is just how cool SD is! Had a bad nights sleep, woke up about 4 times, and Vic had a dream about a crazy women with a frying pan! - this is what serious jetlag can do to you, lol

San Diego: Went there!
... hostel I have ever stayed in, it's by a few bars, plus with 24/7 traffic noise and windows that do not shut, it is hard to sleep the whole night especially when people are out partying at the weekend. The weather is not what I expected, I am 30 miles away from Mexico and yet the temperature is not that warm, especially in the morning and evening. Plus, the sun didn't make an appearance for a few days. But it does mean it is good ...

Hostel Environments
... staircases that I tripped down one day due to slippery shower slippers, luckily my iPad only fell ten steps down. At night, this hostel and the other one across the main road alternate shutting down and making the one all migrate to the other to party. Then, there is a nightly club or bar in which the hostel members get free or heavily discounted entrance. The crowd that stays at this hostel tends to be on the more fun side.

... Diego to pick up their voyagers. For 2 hours the poor crew hauled our luggage out of the MV Explorer, before we were released in waves so that we could find our luggage and pass through customs. The Zimmer family and their luggage more than filled the Enterprise shuttle waiting to take us to our rental. A big SUV made to transport whole soccer teams.
