Back to sweet Byron bay! Staying at the YHA with Bert for a night, we went for a surf the second I arrived at mid day. Good surf, old jokes and a catch up in some gossip regarding the Mojo crew and operations. A great surf, lovely sunset and a bit of familiarity this is just what I needed after the last couple of weeks. We went for a skate in Aldi with a few others for old time sake, good ...

Back to Byron for lunch. Couldn't afford Bangalow on a gypsy salary!! ;-) On the beach, the sun was out and ...David was back in the sea. So much for the last swim. He could see huge fish swimming and surfing the waves next to him. I'm so impressed with the coast of NSW.

Another wander around town and a cold drink in a bar over looking the ocean .Perfect!

Vicky put on her work outfit and went to her aid whilst the beach lifeguards looked on ...

... not her real name obviously, I will explain later) the departure of 5:30am wasn't too bad. The walk was full of inclines and tons of stairs but definitely worth it. I dont think ive ever really seen a sunrise before. It was really cool waiting for the sun to rise and then actually watch it come up. We then treated ourselves to a delicious breakfast at a cafe near The Pass, a well-known surf spot past the main beach. I finally had pancakes and bacon ...
