... got the go ahead. Needless to say she was right :-)When a brief spell of dryness occurred we got our gym gear on and had a nice run over the beach. It was a challenge to come up with rainy day activities. We have to work on that. The Mexican beef mix is marinating so we end the day with a nice dinner and guess stopped raining.

... br> Spent most of the evening with Mya, Claire, Ann, Mimi and Sukhi. Mya and I got our face painted then everyone got up on the tables for a boogie to our Contiki day song Ainsley has given to us - 'We play hard' by Jessie J. Mya and I stayed a little later then the others as we were loving the dance music so we got in just after 1am. We danced on the tables with some guys to Cotton Eyed Joe which was hilarious and sung our hearts out to 'Sweet Nothing' and Lets go'. A really fun night ...

Apart from the fairly ordinary ducks and ibis, we have also been visited by a pair of crested pigeons, magpies, mynah birds, magpie larks, a bird yet to be identified and, of undoubtedly the most interest, a pair of tawny frogmouth. Being nocturnal, owl like birds, they called a halt to night time hunting by roosting in a tree next to our site. They barely moved all day despite the comings and goings of campers. ... the highest point in my walk, was good though even if it did make me realise how unfit I actually am!�� I have a feeling I'm going to ache tomorrow! Back to the hostel to get lunch which was pretty yummy. Then I walked down to the beach and done a little bit of sunbathing, after being fed up with sand and sun cream paste I came back and showered, was soo nice to wash the sand away! I noticed aswell ...
