... openly carrying massive bags around in the street and asking if we wanted to buy any. This was really not my cup of tea at all and I felt rather uncomfortable being offered weed in such an environment. Apart from a few cafes, funky shops and a little hippy museum, there really was nothing in this town at all. The weather was miserable and we were feeling extremely hungover, so it wasn't really the best of experiences. Our guide cooked us up a BBQ at the bowls club and the ...

          Surfing in Byron

It ended up raining last night so our roommates stayed in and we all got chatting. Mary was from Munich, Germany and Craig was from Essex, England. Yeah... Forgot about the mixed dorm again, it was fine though. We chatted until it was quite late about all sorts of things, but mostly about geeky things like books, TV shows, and movies but it was nice to talk to people other than ourselves for ...

Half an hour later and I wasn't seeing double so I reckon it must've been ok. One girl was so proud of her purchase, that she took a picture of it and sent it to her Mum. Somewhat of an overshare, I'd say. She offered me a nibble (oh, so make that thirteen not twelve) but I said no thank you. Then she asked ...

... we were down. I very much doubt this will be the last time I sky-dive and I think even Vicky feels the same about what was the highlight of the honeymoon so far! A day relaxing at the beach followed before going for some tapas. Another delight as I had the best dish I've tasted here yet, this being beef cheeks in caramelised red wine and thyme with a cauliflower purée. One I will definitely be trying to re-create at ...

... is the show in croc museum- this huge theatre. They have birds flying right over your head doing tricks, incredibly well trained! But the main event is the croc feeding. Steves wife and two kids come here and his 10 year old adorable son feeds a croc! A fairly meaty one. The whole zoo is pretty much a shine to Steve and you pick up what an Aussie hero is so quickly. There are no stingrays at the zoo...... So that was Noosa, the alarm was set for 5:45am. It was time for Fraser ...
