Madeira to Puerto Mogan, Gran Canaria
... filled the sails and the trip was done entirely by motor. But the seas were calm, beautiful and brimming with life. Over the three days we enjoyed indian cuisine, attempted at fresh fish and conversations covered a wealth of topics. We saw the odd turtle enjoying the sunshine and a beautiful and lively pod of 12 dolphins came to dance in the bow wave. In the distance we saw the blow hole signs of whales, the tail up the air display and the odd riding fin.

Chillin on the Beach in Africa - Almost...
... almost no plants, not even cacti! The only plants are the palm trees planted around the resorts. We flew into the main airport and it was extremely windy and kind of chilly, so immediately we were worried that our week in the sun would be ruined. But we took the bus all the way south to Playa del Ingles (rightly named as a ton of British people vacation there), and it was nice and hot with perfect blue skies!

The 'we' are my wife Hyacinth, my daughters Naomi and Camille, my grandchildren Lamiyah and Remae, my mum Barbara and Naomi's boyfriend Lewis - so 8 persons in total.
When we got to the drop, there was a queue a mile long and only two staff booking the luggage through. Fortunately others joined these staff and the process, that is supposed to speed things up, took about 30 ...
Gran Canaria Field Research

Freiziet. Nur leider war ich die ganze Woche heiser und konnte nix von
mir geben.
Auf Gran Canaria habe ich auch wieder gemerkt, wie sehr
ich es genossen habe, wieder in einem Spanisch-sprachigem Land zu sein
und ueberall nur von der SPanischen kultur und Sprache umgeben zu sein.
