        ... in Fuertaventura so we will pick him up at the airport tomorrow before setting straight off to Tenerife or Gran Canaria in the afternoon. Its an 'overnighter' so will be a real baptism for Tim who has never been out on a sailing boat in his life. Hopefully it will be a pleasant crossing, the wind and swell are in the right direction but we know how reliable them weather men are. We went ashore in Corralejo to get some provisions for the next few days, being anchored ...

        ... and generally relaxing while on a sail boat - you need to try it, honestly you'll love it. We moved over to Playa Blanca around 3pm just for a change of scenery but the anchorage here seems very prone to swell, especially when the tide is rising. I did snorkel over the anchor though earlier and she is well fast in sand so fingers crossed we will sleep better tonight, but tomorrow we will be moving over ...

        ... sleeping a little less, you can tell that the atmosphere is shifting a little and whereas previously you would have just closed your eyes to something you did not like, you can tell that it is now starting to niggle with a few... really nothing majir but just interesting to see how the crew forms - and after all, we have by now been together non stop for 12 solid days!!! ... only another 18 or so to go.         Warmer today Rob to gym on the promenade. Breakfast then read paper. Swim in sea but v. cold so try the bottom pool- warmish. Sunbathe the shower and go to town for Tapas and beer at little bar by the supermarket.very good. Walk a little way past the ferry and back to room. They are replacing the floorboards next door room so v. noisy. To Galeria for drinks and watch sunset then back for dinner and flamenco ...
