      ... elephant driver had this metal hook on a stick hung over his shoulder, I was wondering how he was going to use that. To be honest he never used it on the whole trip. The driver would simply talk to the elephant and he would respond exactly how the driver wanted him to behave. I was amazed out how smart elephants actually are.       ... a birthday get together for one of the girls here. Cake and everything. Three of the people that aren't staying for the TESOL course have been placed already and have taken their overnight bus rides to their new towns.
