    ... was off his face on Whiskey and Thai Red Bull (much stronger than the European stuff). He wouldn't leave us alone and misheard us as being from Holland. He had little English but had enough to articulate that he liked our countries' football team and that other favourites of his included Germany, Italy and Spains (not a typo). All the other Thai people in the carriage found this hilarious and together with a look of sympathy, pretended not to be looking but we knew they were. ...

    ... for the following day and just went for a walk along the beach. Hua Hin is really just another beachside city which is full of Bangkok weekenders and is where the Thai Royal Family are situated.     ... to ten. I showed them my copy (I did one earlier to show them how to color in the lines) and as we colored, I walked around and asked the kids what number they were currently coloring. We quickly learned eleven to twenty also just by repeating it.     ... here and new yr isnt much different for us....everyone here is in party mode but we are trying to move around the country and it can make things really hard when its so busy......

    still its all part of the game..and today is another year...we have got a room..and hopefully the promise of a bus to kantanaburi...so we wont have to go thru bangkok.....
