    Perfect position

    from

Stayed at Buena Vista in Oct 2004. As has been posted before is about 15 mins out of town. This to me is peferct as you can party till your hearts content and then retire to these apartments and be away from the noise. The apartments are amont the cleanest i have been in and the staff are great. Am hoping to go back to Benidorm in March 2005 and will defo be trying to stay at Buena Vista then.

    Buena vista

    from

Great roomy apartments, everywhere was clean and everything worked.

The surrounding grounds were well kept and the pools clean with slides and swings for the kids.

    Love it!!

    from

I think that these apartments were absolutely fantastic. They were beautiful and very very clean. When I first walked in the room there was four doors facing me and I didn't know which one I should go in first. The first one I went in was the kitchen which was fully fitted with everything you could possibly need. A toaster, hob, fridge freezer, even a separate wash room. Then I went into the living room which was extremely large with a 28" television, it was like being at home!!! The bedroom and bathroom was really lovely aswell and the balcony was massive. The only thing wrong with these apartments is that they are a little bit too far out. It takes about 20 minutes to walk into the centre of Benidorm, which is great if you like walking a lot! We got a taxi which only cost us 3 euros when we were going out at night. Also the pool area is shaded for most of the day thanks to a great big building opposite. This is not very good at all. You got the sun from about 11 am to 2 pm and then it came back round again at about 5 pm. Although there were a few bad points I would definitely go here and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

    Excellent apartments

    from

I stayed here in May 2004 with 4 friends. The apartments were emmaculate and the staff were very friendly. Very close to supermarkets etc and a short walk from all the good nightlife. We will definately visit the Buena Vista Apartments again.

When we return to Spain we join a fantastic walking group. Thanks to the efforts of Roger and Bill we have enjoyed multiple scenic hikes in the mountains around Alicante. Their frequent scouting walks have helped them to organize many wonderful circular routes that allow us unbelievable views and some good exercise as well. Today's walk was double the effort and just as much fun! We walked on ...

We elected to eat dinner the first night and also on Friday because we had to return to El Campello to pay condolences to a dear friend ...

Mount Montgo Hike...and guess what? The rain stayed away!

When you arrive in Javea(or Denia) or anywhere in this area really, it's hard to miss Mount Montgo, the most ominous and tall 'lump' within Mongto National Park.

As visitors, it would have been silly not to climb it. Thankfully we actually found ONE mainly rain free day (Bruce and I are the rain ...

... which I've dramatised somewhat, not being in a car and having a solar panel on board I'd recently bolted to the roof rack, I spotted just in front of me a large piece of metal strewn across the lane, over a metre long and 20 by 20 cm square. Unable to swerve much due to the speed and lorry, I had no choice but to drive straight into it, with a large bang and a bit of an upward lunge of the front left wheel. Quickly putting on the hazards I scanned around and limped ...
