We caught the ferry back to Cancun for the night so we could catch out flight to Cuba the next day. We made our way up past the long strip of all-inclusive hotels to our budget one and moved into our room overlooking the ocean. Not much really to comment about, A place full of hotels and American restaurants.

... to the Akumal area to go to the beach to snorkel with sea turtles. Was great fun and we even saw a couple of stingrays. Next we went to a lagoon where we saw loads of colourful and different types of fish. Got back to hotel about 8:00 and were so exhausted. We then finished our food, and ended up on top of our chairs having to copy a dance from the guys on stage, and then we were in a conger line! - Yes this is a restaurant!!
