    ... which was interesting. As we drive into the older part of the town, I noticed that the temperature was 27 degrees Celsius - obviously the metric conversions are for visitors from everywhere else. This town is the home of the champion skiers during the winter. Although nowhere near any steamboats, Steamboat Springs got its name from a natural hot spring that sounded like the chugging of a steamboat. Apparently when the railway went through the town in 1908, it had some affect on ...

    ... air, as it felt like a New England kind of cold. I usually find that 15 degrees in Colorado is nowhere near as cold as 15 degrees in Vermont, but today it was cold!

    For dinner I went to the Rio Grande and had a margarita, steak burrito with spicy green chile sauce and queso dip in addition to the chips and salsa. Then I looked in the rest of the shops I hadn’t been in and went to Johnny B’s for a peanut butter shake for dessert.

    We got ready to head to town for Dinner at the Boathouse, again Bill and I spent some time there back in 2010...sat out side on the patio with the river flowing in front of us watching the kayakers and standing boarders go by......It was one of the best days......Thanks for Katy our support driver......for making it special.
