Woke to a beautiful Sunday morning. This is a wonderful way to appreciate nature. We both slept well even with a thunder storm. Our hostess (Twila) prepared breakfast. Several courses-egg casserole, sausage, fruit, fresh baked muffins, juice, coffee and my personal favorite whole milk. Twila even gave us the remained muffins "for the road." Very filling but we did stop for a quick lunch at Arby's.

... in Steamboat Springs, an alpine town cut out of the side of a mountain, with lodges and cabins dotting the mountain side and smooth green paths rising to the sky between the trees…ski trails with no snow. And we checked into our hotel and were lucky enough to have a room with a view of the ski slope.
