... people were so stupid and never least he was amused. I think today we made a run to the library before hitting Shake Shack and were able to get the bookends that we missed the day before.

... did not ease and the rest of the day was spent mostly in shops, with a delighted Maureen. We had such an active day that it was time to rest our legs and our arms from carrying all the shopping bags.

The next day it was all go, well once we finally got ourselves out of bed. The weather had not improved which hindered our original plans. After our mammoth breakfast we headed to times square. We had to of course see a broadway show, so we went to the famous red chairs ...

... destination of Panama City, we also witnessed amazing mountain ranges and jungles. Finally, we arrived and stepped out into the sweltering humidity of the Panama City airport. Some people decided to get lunch (apparently ravioli wasn't good enough for them). After a few hours of playing cards and doing homework, we boarded a plane for our final destination: Ecuador.

... Central Park and then afternoon tea at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Apparently the views from the Lobby Lounge on the 35th floor over Central Park and uptown Manhattan were stunning. ... in a super-charged lift and even went inside to check the queue length and the 'legit' price. It was dark by now and the only things we were likely to see were other skyscrapers lit up. We didn't think we would be missing much if we opted out. Back up 6th Avenue for a change and Central Park. By 9 o' clock the Park had taken on another character, with dog walkers and sundry layabouts making the Park pathways look far less appealing. Not too far from 59th Street ...
