Corn and sunflowers are the main crops, with 425mm of rainfall and pretty cold winters - apparently the Interstate get closed off for days at a time because of the snow!     We had heard about the corn fields of the Midwest before, but there is nothing quite like seeing them while driving through them for more than 400 miles today, for the third consecutive day, with at least one more day to go.
