... wrong. Yesterday, after getting gas and looking for a grocery store, Wilma dropped us off in front of a cemetery with the line "You have arrived at your destination." As a result, we had to track back to the highway through corn fields over gravel roads, kicking up dust while the car windows had just been washed. It gave us some nice pictures though.
... then started the fire, and roasted marshmallows and read. It's was light until 9:30 or so, and was such a nice night around the fire! By 11 we were all in bed again, hoping for an early start tomorrow. It's time for me to hit the hay tonight, and hopefully get a full nights sleep in, and kick this slight it was 6 hours, so I'm hoping tonight I can get a good 8 hours! ... to our east and we were on the outer band of it, looking back that was a good thing. we rode the last 45 miles to the hotel in dry weather which was nice it allowed our pants to dry (we were smart enough to put on our rain jackets but not pants). The hotel had a ground round next to it so that is where we ate. Small world our waitress was originally from Tamaqua ...
... calm, the sun cast a beautiful pink glow on the clouds, and the water reflected hues of gray, black, rose, and blue. Very peaceful. By the time we got back to the dock the water was inky black beneath us.
Greta just returned from her run and we went inside our room to look over maps for our trip West tomorrow. It was helpful to have Greta giving suggestions and to get a few things in mind for tomorrow. We'll leave after breakfast, which is served at 7:00 ...
... mostly teen seasonal workers who also dress in Yogi and Boo Boo costumes, reminding me of a Disney-like atmosphere.
Severe weather hit on two nights with torrential rains and thunder and lightning. Two gigantic booms of thunder shook the earth beneath the MH.
I saw a new kind of manufactured home at the CG (see pic). At first glance, it appeared to be 2 stories, but upon closer inspection I'd say the home has high ceilings.
