Group Dinner and Happy Hour.
Theatre Night - Other Desert Cities - at The Liberty Theatre in Hailey ID. The play's subject matter was pretty intense, but the actors did a great job. Enjoyed.
... to ski, this is the place to be. Beautiful.
A few of us girls went to the other close town, Hailey, for lunch and pedicures (Marty, Dottie, Barb). Had lunch at the Big Belly Cafe?? A fun few hours.
Happy Hour, a drive to Sun Valley Resort (absolutely gorgeous), and storing up energy for rafting tomorrow.
An easy day of travel, from Garden City Utah to Ketchum Idaho. We saw lots of farm country and assumed the fields of crops were Idaho potatoes? Happy Hour upon arrival.
The Ketchum area is Idaho's Sun Valley and the Sawtooths. Our campground is not much but okay. Picture is Steve Seitz doing a great job of backing in to his site - pretty close to us.
... cliffs; traipsed through mounds of snow; and walked by the scat and foot prints of very large animals! Although I frequently felt like I was invading a bears’ sanctuary (which I was) it was all worth it. Once I got to the top and turned around, I saw the mountains looming in various shades of green over the horizon. Need I say, I earned a very restful nights sleep that night.

... south of Sun Valley, the original ski resort in the US, is a town called Ketchum, where we are staying the night. It is an authentic rustic town. Smart but without any of the trappings of modern US. It is known for being the home of Ernest Hemingway, when he wasn't in Cuba or Key West, and is where he died.
Temps reached a high as 83 degrees today - about 26C.
