... this was going to be a long morning. As it progressed it got bumpier and bumpier. Twice I got into terrible sinking air and had to add full power to stop the descent after losing 1000 feet of altitude. Arriving at Hailey the winds were 60 to 90 degrees across he runway at 12 gusting to 20 knots. ... Our hotel is actually in Hailey, ID about 10 miles further south, but both Ketchum and Hailey are very similar. Fortunately for us, both Around Me and TripAdvisor showed a lot of good restaurants in Hailey. ... Twin Falls we went to the Shoshone Falls. Really nice park and very pretty. Lots of water over the 90 foot falls. We saw a nice walking trail and off we were again. We didn't know the trail climbed all the way to the top of the canyon... but it was a great view and good exercise. Finished the day back at the camp ground with a few Advil, and ice.
Tuesday we were off to Sun River ID. Not to many miles today... only ...
