Eating a sandwich in Sandwich & cod in Cape Cod!

... hit the jackpot! It was absolutely delicious!

It was so mild that evening that we sat out in the car and ate it directly from the box listening to the chirps of the crickets.

We’d had a very special and memorable time in this area with great food and weather to match.

Which was best you ask, the sandwich in Sandwich or the cod in Cape Cod?

    The cod of course!

Ok we started the day in TN, VA, WVA, MD, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA. 9 states in one day. Thanks to the slave driver on a mission Nora. I know we've been on vacation for a couple days but we had agreed that our vacation didn't start till Plymouth. However let ...

Our Cape Cod experience is quite different to Cape May. While we have bikes available to us we can't cycle as the roads are narrow - no footpaths and no cycle lanes. There are bike trails around the Cape but we can't transport them in our rental car.
We can walk to 2 golf courses, can fish in the pond below our house but must tour by car. We found a really good natural history museum and a walk through ...

... envisioned a small quiet place, but as several road signs announce: “Thickly Settled,” there are a lot of folks.

Sept 12-Went to a BIRD CARVING show (amazing!) and saw a cranberry bog (harvest is in two weeks!)

Sunday, Sept 13 - We worshiped at a Congregational church established in 1848 here in Sandwich. As we searched for our restaurant, we stumbled upon the Cape Cod Canal, toured the Corps ...

... an out tonight so got to go out. However, the girl who we banned from watching our bunk at night somehow had to work in the bunk tonight. So she came in, threw evening snack on the floor, jumped on dannas bed (this girl is morbidly obese... like its something they would make a documentary about) and got her phone out and gathered the campers round her to let them help her text people... Not okay!! I was still in the bunk - at least wait till ...
