    ... 8217;s Bodega for lunch. Such a fun morning! After lunch, Keller had to split to join Gary and Co. for some work meetings, so Pamela and I decided to hit up the Viceroy pool and enjoy the perfect mountain weather. Ummm…hi! Pool time=drink time.     540 miles today. Left Nevada traveled thru Arizona, Utah & finally Colorado. We are now in Glenwood Springs. Funny thing we have been out west in '05, '10 & now '14. Every time I plan a trip the mileage just seems to bring us to this town. Every time we also eat at a local Mexican place (MaryAnn....Ola!!!!!). Nice little town about mid state.     ... It was situated on the Colorado river and it had rock climbing, zip lining and rafting. Lots to do. It was Sam's bday when we arrived so he, hayley, jack and georgia saddled up for some zip line prep work.

    ... is now a Costco and a Walmart and the development on the way to Aspen was solid all the way to Basalt. Golf courses and condominium developments everywhere. We counted more than 50 private jets at the Aspen Air and knew the town would be crowded. All of the two story smaller motels along the highway near Buttermilk no longer existed or were now employee housing. ...
