... that she sewed them and said she would like to give them to me. I blushed and said not thanks but that was a kind gesture. She said, no you must have them And in a minute whipped off the top for me to try on! I was touched by her kindness and said I was fine. She said I want your address because I would like to make one for you. I said thank you but that was not why I admired the clothes. She said I will get your address and post one to you ! What a truly lazy day this was..... I did absolutely nothing all day, but read, work on my pictures, and go to Old Town with Jacques and Marina for shopping and dinner. Jacques had rented a small little car, with air conditioning (thank goodness), since it was 95+ degrees, and no air movement in Gouvia Harbor.. Jacques drove masterfully into the Old Town section situated between two old fortresses. We found a place to pack, and walked the last 10 blocks, or so, into the heart of ...

... Old Fortress. It crosses over the moat, which is more of a small canal, and the entrance to the fortress is through an arched gateway. Passing through the gatehouse we headed around to the north side where we gradually made our way up toward the summit, high above the city. At the top of the hill is a light-house and a tall iron mast. From there you have a great view in all directions ...
