Allas, check-in wasn't untill 1, so we decided to go to subway to get some lunch, maccers to get an icecream and then return to our hostel to moan about how tired and dirty we felt. After we were all clean and a bit more rested we all met again at the restraunt next to our hostel for the free bbq (okay and maybe happyhour). At seven we all made our way to a bar where there was a 'Spank ...

... ate it off of our loaned dishes with the girls from London who's names are Emma and Sarah. After a feast of beans and doing our washing chores, we went to the hostels bar for quiz night. Prizes were jugs of alcohol, we'd all have preferred food but beggars can't be choosers. There were prices for first place and best team name, Emma cleverly asked the quiz masters name which was Jordan. I came up with 'jor-da-man' and we obviously won! We actually did the best ...

      ... wished we
had our swimmers with us as this looked a great plae for a swim.
When we arrived at Paluma we thought we
would get a light lunch before doing the walks here. Thats when we
found out everything here is closed on Tuesday and Wedesdays. So a

cut in and I was ready to go.

The first walk we did was the
      rainforest walk. Although ...

... cigarettes, coffee and booze. Cash was always short as I think they were also on drugs so they have the odd meal of tinned food and $1 a loaf bread they buy on special at Woolies. I made them a full breakfast some mornings as that was the only time they were sober enough to eat. I felt I just needed to experience ...

      Ron and Sue Catch Up

Contemplated getting tickets to the footy finals but
decided to watch on TV. Spent the day checking out all the old shops we used to
frequent, boy have they grown. David was playing chef all week cooking for us
and our friends so lots of food shopping was done with delicious results as
usual. Visited Sue and Ron and family for dinner and had a great catch up.
