... had travelled South two days previous so we were back with Matt and Beth. We had a few stops on the way for photos and stopped at the town of Te Anau for a coffee. The best part of the journey was when we travelled through a tunnel knocked through a mountain. It went on for almost 2km in almost pitch black whilst the driver played the mission impossible theme tune music and zig zagged the bus from side to side. Eventually we arrived at the Ferry and had a little wander along the ...

... out to be quite difficult as they turned into gravel paths. So we decided to turn and weren't exactly disappointed by the less scenic route. We drove through a valley with vineyards and stopped off for some cheese tasting at a cheesemongers next to the winery. Michele had enough trouble walking round the vista area outside the cafe at the top !! Queenstown by night is lovely with the harbour lite up complimented by yet another full moon to light up the beach area. ...

... in Queenstown? I also thought a lot about my Mom and how much I miss her and sharing my adventures with her.

... We had to get back in e bus, across the other lake and back on the original bus we arrived on! Sounds like a faff but it's really well organised. We met some Americans on the boat back too. Turned out they were from San Francisco.. They pretty much planned our 4 days there for when we stop on the way home! Saves us doing it!! We arrived back to Queenstown at 7.30pm. Takeaway it was! Today turned out to be the perfect way to spend our Boxing ...
