After leaving Sydney at 10pm and 14 hours of flying, we arrived in Dubai at 5am. As we rode in the taxi to our hotel we could see that downtown was shrouded in what looked like fog. Our very friendly taxi driver assured us it would only last an hour (since he was friendly, I asked him about Gas prices. In Dubai its ~$1US / L but he said in Saudi it's closer to $0.50 US /L). We had a wonderful time talking to the family about our travels and of course ...

We walked and walked and walked and the boys got more and more tired as we promised them the beach and a milkshake if they could just go a little further. Finally we got to the spot only to find that upon turning right we were at yet ANOTHER mall!!! To say the kids were unimpressed is an ...

... It's 4 floors full of every brand you've ever heard of. It's not like a standard shopping mall where all the shops are just in a straight line like the Trafford Centre. It has large circular rooms which connect off the main walkway through the mall. The art work and the shear vast size of the Dubai Mall makes this a place you must visit if you come to Dubai, i mean it literally has any interests you could only dream of. On my travels of ...
