Ich war etwas enttäuscht von dem Flughafen in Dubai, denn ich habe von vielen Personen gehört, dass es dort beeindruckend sei. Was ich jedoch nicht leugnen kann ist, dass es dort viele Geschäfte gibt, aber nichts Besonderes.

Dubai Stopover
We had a little above 4 hours stopover at Dubai.
We also learnt that if the stopover is over 4 hours , Emirates gives Food Vouchers which can be used at Mc Donalds or Burger King or another one.
This was a nice surprise for both of us :)
The shopping scene in Dubai liked Pretty Crazy !!!

End of Cruise of Segment 2
The temperature in Dubai was 43C with 73% humidity with very light breeze. We love heat, but really can do without the humidity. We were in port from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Not enough time to really visit all the sites you would like to see.

Queen Mary 2 in Dubai
... former two were in Dubai in December. They strongly recommended that we go there again, so we did. No alcohol is served here so I had a lassi with my meal. We had aloo ghobi and mai`s prawn tikka curry, steamed rice, pappadoms, vegetable raita, tandoori chicken and garlic naan. Unfortunately, Christine and Beth do not eat chicken so I had to finish the tandoori chicken all by myself. The cost of the meal was 301 dirhams, about A$75.
