    ... lamb! Then the best part of the evening was the Star talk. An expert explained star constellations to us and pointed out the southern cross and even Jupiter! When they turned all the generator lights off it was unbelievable how many stars there were to see. The evening ended with desert, port and a comfy bus ride back to our campsite!     ... this on the bus, turns out they have stopped doing that now that they no longer issue tickets on the bus. I pleaded total ignorance and laid on the English accent and he let me on for free, phew. So if you plan to visit Sydney use the train as much as possible.

    ... this time to tour the Whitsunday Islands, finishing up on Whitehaven Beach. There are something like 90 islands in the group, some inhabited as resorts others not, but all very scenic. The jewel in the crown though, is Whitehaven Beach, an absolutely stunning wide bay with clear blue waters gently lapping onto a pure whitest of white sandy beach.
